Basically an industrial-grade truck w/ a P.U. bed on it. Use it to tow our 19,000+ 43' 5th Wheel Toy Hauler trailer. No issues so far. Monitoring mileage w/o trailer connected (~11mpg @ 13,000miles / truck not really broken in yet--remaining hopeful of 13 to 15mpg HWY once it is). "Governor"/auto-limiter system for speed, topping out around 82 or 83mph could have been raised to 90mph only for passing. If you want an economy car, buy a Prius. Until they come out with 1-ton dualies that run on tap water versus diesel, this is the very best truck value for the price--previously owned GMC Sierra 3500 dualie...Allison transmission was smoother than current Ford up and down hils/on&off accelerator--more slippage/U-joint or general drive train movement on Ford, but still way solid. Greater payload is worth every extra dollar.

I will Lemon Law It!!!!!!!! Has been in the shop 5 times for radiator bursting. 14,000 miles in 2 years. Treated like a girl....Last repair was 9 thousand since engine had to be replaced....Warranty covers it but out of service for more than a month. Get a Chevy....Painful words coming from a lifelong Ford owner
