A CPO Ford goes through a rigorous inspection process to gain this designation. There are three different levels of certification, including Gold, EV, and Blue. If you go for the Gold, your car will go through a 172-point inspection and must be under six years old. It also cannot have any more than 80,000 miles on the odometer.
For EV models, a 127-point inspection will be administered, and the requirements mirror the Gold guidelines. With Blue level vehicles, they must undergo a 139-point inspection and must be under 10 years old with less than 150,000 miles on the odometer.
